 Ah, that comforting school pasttime, challenging each other with your exam scores. It's a little one-sided, and a lot of amateur psychological warfare comes into play. Then, at home, a battle of spite. Kana finishes off the episode with deliberate misunderstanding and invites Fujioka over, where he gets dragged into dinner and further misunderstandings.  In a time of distant past, a deal was struck between the villagers of a farming community and the wolf-kami who inhabited the land. "Ripen our wheat and we will celebrate and worship you." However, as mankind progresses, he no longer requires the help of the kami, his own knowledge now takes over for the mystical assistance. The festivals are nothing more than celebration and the reality of the bargain has been forgotten.Lawrence Craft is a travelling merchant who passes through this area of the countryside, and knows many of it's inhabitants and customs. As he is passing through the village, the local harvest festival is about to start. Not knowing the consequences, the girl who was chosen to represent Kenrou Horo the "wolf god," does something simple that causes Lawrence to inherit the real Horo. Saddled with a naked wolf-girl, and not knowing if she is real or a possessed innocent, his slightly altered journey begins. And Horo is cute, bushy tail, pert... uh... ears, and all.  Fifteen-year old Aono Tsukune is transferring to a new high school, and much sooner than he thought. After his father picked up a student packet, dropped by what appeared to be a drunk "priest," both his parents insisted he use it. So, with such an unusual start to his new school life, the bus driver increases the strangeness by cryptically warning him about Youkai Academy. It's no surpise, then, that the landscape where he is dropped off, is unsettling. But, after literally being run-over by a beautiful girl riding a bike, he thinks things are looking pretty good... Even after she confesses to being a vampire... after all, there aren't any real vampires. However, Tsukune is about to have a major change in world-view... both in the number of times he gets to see nice white cotton panties, and in how strange the rest of his classmates really are.  On the next day of school, Sana is still getting the cold shoulder from Nanaka. And things don't get better from there. Of school-life clichés he loses out on the cutlet sandwich line, and the position of class representative is forced on him shortly after. His rep duties give Nanaka a couple more chances to dump on him. Then he meets a cute girl, Asami, who offers to help him out. At least things don't look all bad for him.  In the middle of being teased and showing-off on the road, motocross pro Sho Zama is conjured to Ah, a country in the world of Byston Well. Along with two other people from Earth (referred to as Upper Earthers), they are more or less conscripted into the service of Lord Drake Luft. The reason for this is that they possess the ability to use "aura," which is needed to effectively fight in giant battle suits. Upon Sho's arrival he is told that even if the silkie that conjured him was strong enough to return him, he would be unable to convince her to do so. So, he bides his time and learns to use the "aura battler" suit.Byston Well resembles Faerie in that it has all sorts of creatrues as unicorns, dragons, sprites, silkies, and many which are less pleasant.  A timely interruption by Duke Watari, manages to allow Honey and Seiji to escape more or less unscathed from the battle with Yuji. In worrying about her, Seiji decides that he is going to train Honey, but things don't go the way he expects. Later, Honey joins the nursing staff at a hospital, in order to find out if a friend disappeared from there.  Yasako and Fumie continue to run from Satchii, until they find a safe place, which starts to trigger memories in Yasako. On returning to her grandmother's house, Yasako is horrified to find out what she does, and then later who she is in relation to the cyberworld. While the two young girls spend the rest of the day together, they try desperately to fix the cyberpet, Densuke, who is far from operating properly after being retrieved.
